Welcome home to Provo Utah. Provo is the largest city in Utah County and is home to BYU with its wide variety of collegiate sports and arts. Three high schools, two Middle Schools, and 13 elementary schools are located in Provo. there are over 115,000 permanent citizens plus thousands of college students and commuting workers. It boasts and extensive park system and bike trails that reaches into Provo Canyon and touches Utah Lake.

The Arts in Provo

The arts in Provo has been vibrant since BYU was founded. BYU itself has several museums, which could take the better part of a day to explore.
Author Steven Covey donated the fund to build the Covey Center for the Arts. Many events and performances are put on each year. In addition, there are a wide variety of performing arts happening in Provo every week including Comedy Sportz, Dry Bar Comedy, and live music venues Velour Live Music and the Utah Valley Symphony. |
